Maltese have long and white coat and they are part of companion and toy dogs.They are tiny sized, very tame and calm in moderation. They are great pets for families, even with children and for people who live in apartments or small houses with limited space outdoors.
Maltese puppies in particular are playful, lively and have a cheerful personality.
They grow fond of their family and they are particularly devoted to one member, to whom they will always try to stay very close.
If trained, they enjoy going along walks.
